Accounts Assistant

​​Accounts Semi Senior - Salisbury

Clark Wood are working with an Independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Salisbury who are recruiting for an Accounts Semi Senior to join our Owner Managed Business Team.

Your work will include:

Preparation of accounts for limited companies, partnerships, LLPs and sole traders and related business tax computations
Providing opening balance adjustments for clients
Completing self assessment tax returns for sole trade, partnership or limited company
Preparation of charity accounts, independent examinations, receipts and payments accounts, PCC accounts
Filing accounts and tax returns (Companies House and HMRC)
Company secretarial (annual confirmation statements, filing changes of director, registered office etc)
Drafting correspondence and emails to clients, liaising with HMRC
Assisting in the provision of ad hoc advice to clients on vat, book keeping, taxation and related matters•General admin tasks such as billing etc

You will ideally be AAT qualified and/or studying towards the ACCA qualification and have relevant recent practice experience

You will also be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Sage with experience of other electronic accounting packages such as Xero, Quickbooks
