Clark Wood are currently working with a leading firm who are looking for an Accounts & Tax Semi Senior in their Farnham office

Key Responsibilities:

Managing day to day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients as well as reconciliations of the main control accounts

Arranging monthly management accounts for clients and detailed year end reconciled information to the statutory accounts team

Ability to review management accounts and VAT returns preferable

Reviewing client entries and advising of corrections or efficiency improvements

Preparing and filing VAT returns for various VAT schemes

Preparing self-assessment tax returns and 30 day CGT returns, including capital gains computations and preparation of P11ds

Providing technical tax assistance to non-tax staff

Communicating directly with HMRC when necessary, undertaking general administration tasks

Providing training to clients on various packages and bookkeeping skills as required

The Candidate:

AAT qualified as a minimum, ideally AAT and ATT qualified
