Clark Wood are working with a leading firm of accountants in Newcastle Under Lyme who are actively looking to grow their Business Services team at Accounts Manager or Senior Manager level.

The role has arisen due to internal restructuring with the current senior manager progressing into partnership.

The role will involve playing a key role in the Business Services division supporting the partners

As an Accounts Manager / Senior Manager, your role will involve managing a diverse portfolio of clients which will include a mix of small-medium limited companies, sole traders and partnerships from a wide array of business sectors. You will act as the primary point of contact for your clients and will have responsibility for ensuring that all associated accounts and tax work for them is completed accurately and efficiently.

Aside from the client management aspect of the role, you will be responsible for managing and assisting in the development of junior staff which will include providing support to them where necessary and reviewing their work as well as getting involved with various networking events for the company.

The ideal candidate will be ACCA / ACA Qualified (or may be Qualified by Experience) with strong and varied general practice experience. Excellent communication skills are imperative for this role as it is key that you can build and maintain a successful working relationship with multiple clients.
