Accounts & Audit Senior / Client Manager

Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a well renowned firm of accountants who, as a result of continued growth, are now keen to add an experienced and driven Accounts & Audit Senior to their established and successful team in Newcastle.

The successful candidate will undertake a varied role which will see them being responsible for leading audit assignments for a variety of clients, as well as preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and corporate tax computations.

You will also have the opportunity to be involved in some more specialist advisory projects for the client base on an ad-hoc basis. You will also be responsible for supervising junior staff, assisting in their training and development as required.

You will have responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of audit and non-audit clients, acting as their main point of contact and ensuring that all work completed for those clients is completed in an accurate and timely manner.

The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA Qualified, or at the final stages of their studies, and will have recent experience of undertaking a mixed audit and accounts position, including experience of leading audit assignments.
