Accounts & Audit Senior Manager

Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are delighted to be working with one of the UK's largest independent firm of accountants who are now seeking an ambitious and driven Accounts & Audit Senior Manager to join the team in their Central London office.

This is a fantastic and rare opportunity to join a leading and well-regarded practice in which you will take a lead role in their accounts and audit department.

This opportunity would suit either a successful and career motivated manager looking for a step up, or an established senior manager looking to consolidate their position in a firm of accountants with an excellent reputation and client base.

Working in the Accounts & Business Advisory department you will manage a portfolio of existing and new clients. The firm offer an in-house CPD programme to help aid personal progression. This firm are well known and growing offering a great working environment with excellent progression opportunities through to directorship.

The ideal individual with be qualified (ACA / CA / ACCA) and will have gained proven experience, ideally within a Top 50 firm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage a varied client portfolio providing compliance services and ad hoc advisory support to SMEs and OMBS.
Planning and carrying out audit fieldwork, statutory financial reporting and completion work
Reviewing work of junior team members including preparing the final audit file
Managing a team, planning the work load and reporting in to partners, playing an active role in the development of the firm.

Skills:

ACA / ACCA Qualified
A sound technical audit understanding is essential
