Accounts & Audit Senior Manager

Are you an established Accounts & Audit Manager looking or a rare opportunity, outside of the London area, closer to home in East Sussex?

The role our client is looking to fill is an Accounts & Audit Senior Manager or Partner Designate position they are offering genuine progression through to partnership.

Our client, a leading practice, who are nationally recognised are looking for the individual to take responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of clients, covering a variety of business sectors, sizes and structures. You will be responsible for all aspects of audit and accounts assignment management, as well as staff management and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing a portfolio of clients
Managing external audits
Preparation and review of financial statements
Review of Corporation tax computations
Ensure that clients receive an efficient and proactive service and client expectations are exceeded throughout the year.  
Arrangement of timetable, booking of staff, planning review and completion of audit and other related assignments.
Liaison with junior staff to assess any issues that need dealing with.
Ensuring appropriate in house and external training received personally

Education/Qualifications:

Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA)
Management experience and strong experience in running their own portfolio
Experience of (and appetite for) business development
Demonstrable working knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, industry specifics and their application.
