Accounts & Audit Senior - Harrogate

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of Harrogate’s most successful accountancy practices as an accounts and audit senior.

This well respected mid-tier practice are seeking an ambitious Part Qualified/Qualified Accounts and Audit Senior to work in a mixed role encompassing accounts, tax and audit. You will gain exposure to a diverse client base including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from a range of industry sectors. The exact weighting of the workload will be dependent upon the individual and their existing skill set.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare the audit plan and ensures it appropriately addresses audit objectives
Take an active part in the audit planning and fraud discussion to identify audit risks and appropriate audit strategy
Oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives
Supervising & developing more junior members of staff
Accounts preparation for sole traders, limited companies & partnerships
