Accounts & Audit Senior

Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood have recently been instructed by highly reputable and progressive firm of accountants based in Bristol.

Our client are looking to bring on board a talented ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualfied Accounts & Auditor to join their expanding team.

The ideal candidate will have varied general practice experience including experience of undertaking and leading audit assignments on a variety of clients.

This role will be predominantly focused on corporate audit but would also provide variety and exposure to statutory accounts, tax work, whilst gaining exposure to a diverse client base including SMEs, OMBs, international groups and some listed businesses.

Duties & Responsibilities

Act as an advisor to owner managed businesses on a range of accounts and business advisory
Leading of audit assignments (from planning through to conclusion) for significant audit engagements including supervision of staff and client management
Review work prepared, ensuring quality in compliance with professional standards/requirements
Preparation of statutory accounts for a range of client types and sizes
Preparation of business/corporate taxation computations and returns
