Accounts & Audit Senior

Public Practice Specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading and nationally renowned firm of chartered accountants who are seeking to recruit an ACA / ACCA Qualified Accounts & Audit Senior to join the team in their Spalding office.

This highly reputable and highly progressive firm have an already established, and ever growing presence across the East Midlands and can offer the successful individual ample opportunities to develop whilst gaining exposure to working with an array of the region’s leading businesses.

As an Accounts & Audit Senior you will be responsible for managing, controlling and conducting the audit fieldwork for a diverse range of clients, developing strong relationships with those clients, and helping to win new clients for the firm. Your role will also include the preparation and review of financial statements for clients as well as the associated tax compliance work.

The balance of the workload will audit focused to an extent however the exact weighting will be dependent on the individual to a degree.

The successful candidate will be ACA / ACCA qualified or at the final stages of their studies and will have extensive experience in all aspects of general practice work including Audit.

Duties and Responsibilities

Planning, managing, controlling and conducting the audit fieldwork for a portfolio of the firm's clients under the direction of the audit partner and manager group
Preparation of financial statements for audit and non-audit clients
Building and maintaining client relationships
Managing and developing junior members of the team
Preparation of Corporation tax computations and returns

Skills

ACA or ACCA Qualified or Finalist
Experience of leading Audit Assignments
