​Audit & Accounts Senior (60/40 Split)
Location: Swansea Office
Salary: £28,000–£40,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:30am–4:30pm (½-hour lunch)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join our Swansea office. This is a varied role offering a true mix of audit and accounts work across the year, ideal for someone who enjoys both disciplines and wants to progress within a supportive, growing firm.

Role Split & Seasonality

• Audit – approx. 60%

o Busy audit period during the first few months of the year

o Audit work picks up again from the end of October through to the summer

• Accounts Preparation – approx. 40%

o Accounts-focused workload during the summer months

o Preparation of year-end financial statements for a broad client base

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and assist on audits from planning through to completion

• Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders

• Review junior staff work and provide support/training where needed

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients

• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and internal procedures

• Manage workload effectively across seasonal peaks

About You

• Experienced in both audit and accounts within a practice environment

• ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (experience considered over qualifications)

• Comfortable taking ownership of client work and supporting junior staff

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
