Our client is a local firm of Chartered Accountants who are recruiting for an Accounts & Audit Senior or Semi Senior to join the businesses Farnham office.
Being responsible for the firms audits you will be reporting directly in to the RI.
You will be responsible for providing training and helping to develop junior staff so that they can take on the more routine aspects of audits, allowing you to step back and review work and consider the more complex aspects which arise. ~
The structure of our firm means that you will also be involved in growing our audit function and will be involved in a number of projects to develop the firm’s audit offering – this is unusual in a role at this level.
The firm are offering a salary of (£30,000 - £45,000 experience and qualification dependent)
You will hold an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or due to qualify within 6 months and have 4+ years’ experience working within an accountancy practice
You will have experience of working within an Audit team ideally including experience acting as an audit supervisor or manager.
