Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a reputable and prominent regional firm of chartered accountants in Dover who are looking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Senior / Assistant Manager to join their growing team.

The Role

You will undertake a varied mix of accounts and audit work, with responsibilities including:

  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio
  • Completing accounts and tax compliance assignments
  • Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
  • Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
  • Supervising and supporting junior team members
  • Reviewing audit files and ensuring assignments are completed to a high standard
  • Assisting with technical queries and providing solutions to clients

About You

  • ACA / ACCA Qualified or Finalist (QBE candidates will also be considered DOE)
  • Previous experience in a mixed accounts and audit role within practice
  • Strong technical accounts and audit knowledge
  • Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proactive approach with a desire to progress within practice
