Accounts & Audit Senior | Abingdon | £DOE

Clark Wood are currently working with an established accountancy firm who are looking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Senior to join their growing audit team in Abingdon.

The Role

You will lead audit assignments for a range of limited companies, with responsibilities including:

Planning, preparing and completing statutory audits in accordance with ISAs
Attending client premises and liaising directly with clients
Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies
Drafting corporation tax computations and analysing tax-sensitive items
Ensuring financial statements comply with relevant accounting standards
Supporting and mentoring trainees
Identifying and resolving technical audit and accounting issues
Keeping up to date with changes in accounting and auditing standards

About You

ACA / ACCA Qualified or equivalent (training or QBE candidates also considered DOE)
Strong audit and accounts experience within practice
Good understanding of accounting standards and ISAs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Office
SAGE, Xero, QuickBooks or CCH Audit Automation experience would be advantageous
