​Job Title: Audit & Accounts Senior
Location: Lancaster
Salary: Circa £35,000 - £40,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Are you an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior seeking a new opportunity? We are currently working with a distinguished firm of chartered accountants in Lancaster that is looking to expand its team. This reputable and progressive firm is known for delivering exceptional client service and is eager to welcome an ambitious individual to their ranks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Audit Assignments: Manage audit assignments from initial planning through to completion for a diverse range of clients, including group structured entities and stand-alone limited companies.

  • Year-End Accounts: Prepare and review year-end accounts and corporate tax returns.

  • Client Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring effective communication and service delivery.

  • Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior staff members, aiding in their professional development.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified, or a finalist in your studies.

  • Experience: Recent experience in leading audit assignments is essential, whether in a pure audit or mixed audit and accounts role.

  • Practice Experience: A solid background in public practice is required.
