Circa £35,000 - £42,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a leading and highly reputable independent firm of chartered accountants in Chandlers Ford who are looking to add an ACA / ACCA Qualified Audit & Accounts Senior to their team.
This highly progressive and distinguished firm have a fantastic reputation for delivering excellent levels of client service and they are now looking to add an ambitious individual to the team who is keen to develop their career with a well-renowned firm.
Working as an Audit & Accounts Senior, the successful candidate will undertake a varied role in which you will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from a variety of business sectors. The role will see you leading audit assignments from the initial planning stage through to completion as well as the preparation and review of year-end accounts and tax compliance.
You will be responsible for supervising junior members of the audit team, assisting in their development and providing guidance to them
The ideal candidate will be ACCA / ACA Qualified or at the final stages of their studies and will have recent experience of undertaking a mixed audit and accounts position.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare the audit plan and ensure it appropriately addresses audit objectives
Take an active part in the audit planning and fraud discussion to identify audit risks and appropriate audit strategy
Oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives
Supervising & developing more junior members of staff
Accounts preparation for sole traders, limited companies & partnerships
Skills:
ACA / ACCA Qualified or Finalist
Experience of leading Audit assignments
