Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with reputable and highly regarded firm of chartered accountants in Stockton on Tees who are looking to add an Accounts & Audit Senior to their team.

This well-renowned firm have a fantastic presence in the Tees Valley and the wider North East and they have a varied client base consisting of a range of small-medium businesses and OMBs. The successful candidate will undertake a varied role in which you will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from a variety of business sectors.

The position will be varied and will include the preparation and review of accounts and tax compliance work as well as leading audit assignments from the initial planning stage through to completion. The workload will be evenly split between the audit and accounts aspects of the role depending on when the audits fall.

As an Accounts & Audit Senior you will be client facing and will be responsible for the supervision of junior staff, assisting in their development.

The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA Qualified or at the latter stages of their studies. Individuals who are at the final stages of their studies will also be considered.

Recent experience of undertaking a mixed audit and accounts position as well as experience of leading audit assignments is essential.

Skills:
