Are you an Accounts & Audit Senior based in Essex looking for a new challenge with a larger progressive firm of accountants?

Clark Wood are working closely with a regional firm of accountants who are looking to strengthen their Chelmsford team with the addition of an Accounts & Audit Senior

The successful candidate will have responsibility for running group audits and for accounts preparation work, to include consolidations and cash flow statements.

This Is a varied and exciting role which will also include the preparation of financial forecast models, business plans, reporting on internal controls, and other ad hoc projects will also be required from time to time.

The role will include leading a range of audits independently for OMB’s /SME’s and some international groups as well as supervising the work of more junior staff and liaising closely with the manager and staff partner.

The role provides a good range of work for someone with solid technical skills and with a mixed background of audit and accounts work, wishing to build on his or her experience in a fast-growing office that will provide opportunities for progression.

The successful candidate will be ideally ACA/ACCA Qualified and have a strong audit background and able to lead audits independently from planning through to completion.
