Accounts & Audit Senior

Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a leading South East centric firm of accountants who are seeking to recruit an ACA / ACCA Qualified Accounts & Audit Senior to join their growing team.

The successful candidate will ideally be qualified or at the final stages of their studies and will have experience in all aspects of general practice work including Accounts, Tax and Audit.

You will be responsible for managing, controlling and conducting the audit fieldwork for a diverse range of clients, developing strong relationships with those clients, and helping to win new clients for the firm. Your work will also include preparation of financial statements for audit and non-audit clients as well as the associated tax compliance work.

Working within a leading firm, you will gain exposure to working with a wide range of corporate entities of varying sizes from a vast array of interesting and diverse business sectors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Planning, managing, controlling and conducting the audit fieldwork for a portfolio of the firm's clients under the direction of the audit partner and manager group
Preparation of statutory accounts for audit and non-audit clients
Building and maintaining client relationships
Managing and developing junior members of the team
Preparation of Corporation tax computations and returns


ACA or ACCA Qualified / Finalist
Experience of leading Audit Assignments
