Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a reputable and highly regarded independent firm of chartered accountants in Newport who are looking to add an Accounts & Audit Senior to their team.

The position will be varied and will include the preparation and review of accounts and tax compliance work as well as leading audit assignments from the initial planning stage through to completion. The workload will be evenly split between the audit and accounts aspects of the role depending on when the audits fall.

As an Accounts & Audit Senior you will be client facing and will be responsible for the supervision of junior staff, assisting in their development.

The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA Qualified or at the latter stages of their studies. Individuals who are at the final stages of their studies will also be considered.

Recent experience of undertaking a mixed audit and accounts position as well as experience of leading audit assignments is essential.
