Public Practice Specialists Clark Wood are currently recruiting for a leading Top 40 National firm who are seeking an ambitious Accounts & Audit Senior to join their central London office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading audits from planning to completion on a variety of audit assignments from a diverse range of industries. This position would also involve preparation & review of financial statements, tax work & other general practice responsibilities. The role involves around 50% audit and 50% accounts work.

Responsibilities:

Leading audits from planning to completion for a diverse range of clients
Take an active part in the audit planning and fraud discussion to identify audit risks and appropriate audit strategy
Oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives
Preparation of draft business tax computations
Preparation of draft statutory accounts under FRS102 and old UK GAAP
Supervising & developing more junior members of staff
Accounts preparation for audit exempt limited companies, partnerships and LLPs

Skills:

ACA / ACCA Qualified/ Finalist
Experience of leading Audits from planning to completion is essential
