Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a highly progressive, forward-thinking firm of chartered accountants in Andover who are looking to add an Accounts & Audit Senior to their team.
This well-renowned firm have a fantastic presence across Hampshire and they have a varied client base consisting of a range of small-medium business and OMBs. The successful candidate will undertake a varied role in which you will gain exposure to a diverse range of clients from a variety of business sectors.
The role will include the preparation and review of year-end accounts and tax compliance work as well as leading audit assignments from the initial planning stage through to completion. You will act as first point of contact to clients to assist with a variety of questions on tax, accounts and bookkeeping issues, whilst building and maintaining strong client relationships. You will use your experience to assist other staff, reviewing their work and aiding their development and progression.
The ideal candidate will be ACCA / ACA Qualified or at the final stages of their studies and will have excellent and varied practice experience. Recent experience of undertaking a mixed audit and accounts position as well as experience of leading audit assignments is essential.
