Circa £28,000 – £35,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Supporting the Managers and Senior Managers, as an Accounts & Audit Senior you will be responsible for the following;

You will be responsible for undertaking Audits for a diverse portfolio of clients.

As Accounts & Audit Senior you will work with a wide range of clients giving you exposure to a variety of industries such as construction, manufacturing and care homes and group companies

Leading audit assignments in a variety of industries
 
Accounts preparation for Corporate clients

Preparation of corporation tax returns and computations

Supervision of more junior staff
 
Providing reports/updates to manager/partner
 
Effectively deal with client and HMRC correspondence

Our client based in Newport is looking for the following knowledge and qualifications:

Previous audit experience in a practice environment
General accounting experience including accounts preparation.
Experience using Sage and Microsoft Excel as well as other Microsoft applications and accounting software
Working knowledge of Corporation Tax
ACA or ACCA qualified (or very close to qualifying)
Ability to support and supervise junior staff.
