Accounts & Audit Senior

Clark Wood is currently recruiting for a leading national practice; an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious & determined Audit Senior to work within their Tunbridge Wells office.

The successful candidate would take on a key position within the Audit team; they will undertake planning & budgeting work; then evaluate & report on a variety of audit assignments. You will also assist with the supervising & developing more junior members of staff. This role offers a genuine opportunity for progression to Manager.

Responsibilities:

Prepare the audit plan and ensures it appropriately addresses audit objectives
Take an active part in the audit planning and fraud discussion to identify audit risks and appropriate audit strategy
Oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives
Control the audit in relation to timescales, budgets and risk management procedures
Supervising & developing more junior members of staff
Reviewing work for more junior member of the team

Skills:

ACA / ACCA Finalist or Qualified
Experience in working with a variety of Owner Managed Business / AIM Listed Clients
Experience within Tax would also be beneficial
