Accounts & Audit Semi Senior - Woking

Clark Wood is currently working with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Woking who are seeking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join their team

Working as part of the audit team, you will be involved throughout each stage of the audit process from planning through to completing audit work. You will also undertake accounts preparation work for a range of clients (Audit clients and Audit exempt)

The ideal candidate for this position will be AAT Qualified or ACCA / ACCA Part Qualified and will have previous audit experience within a practice environment

Duties and Responsibilities

Drafting statutory accounts; preparation of draft business tax computations; accounts preparation; and drafting recommendations to management post Audit
Leading or assisting on audits and responsible for assistants within the audit team to ensure delivery within agreed timetable
Preparation and audit of statutory accounts
Preparation and management of assignment budgets and costs
Investigates all audit issues to arrive at a proposal or solution
Take responsibility for own workload and performance indicators

Skills

Part Qualified ACA or ACCA
Experience of undertaking audits
