This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and leading local practice based in Newport who are looking for an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior.

Supporting the Seniors and Managers, as an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior you will be responsible for the following;

You will be responsible for undertaking Audits for a diverse portfolio of clients.

As Accounts & Audit Semi Senior you will work with a wide range of clients giving you exposure to a variety of industries such as construction, manufacturing and care homes and group companies

Conducting audit assignments in a variety of industries

Accounts preparation for Corporate clients

Preparation of corporation tax returns and computations

Working closely with Audit Seniors/Managers

Effectively deal with client and HMRC correspondence

Our client based in Newport is looking for the following knowledge and qualifications:

Previous audit experience in a practice environment
General accounting experience including accounts preparation
Experience using Sage and Microsoft Excel as well as other Microsoft applications and accounting software
Knowledge of Corporation Tax
Studying towards ACA or ACCA
