Accounts & Audit Semi Senior

Clark Wood are working with an international firm of accountants in central London who are actively seeking an ambitious accounts and audit semi senior to join their team.

With a reputation for having an excellent audit portfolio across London with large property, legal and communication clients, this firm have progressed seamlessly over the last couple of years into one of London’s most successful independent practices.

The ideal candidate will ACCA/ACA Part Qualified with a passion and desire to progress and have experience in a mixed accounts and audit position.

Duties & Responsibilities

Preparation of statutory financial statements from trial balance or primary records
Preparation of working papers to support audit work and financial statements including lead schedules, checklists and statutory reviews
Audit of financial statements by way of sample testing and analytical review
Review of audit and accounts work undertaken by junior members of the team
Visiting client’s premises to carry out audit work where necessary, including stock take attendances Liaising with clients to carry out work including audit and accounting queries
Performing an advisory role to a portfolio of clients
Working solely or as part of a team on audits and accounts preparation assignments in respect of small, medium and large companies
Meeting both internal and external deadlines
Spending approximately 80% of your time at the London office
Reporting on a regular basis to Managers and Directors for auditing and accounting

Skills:

AAT Qualified or ACA/ACCA Part Qualified
Experience of undertaking a mixed accounts and audit position
