Accounts & Audit Semi Senior

Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a leading regional firm of accountants in Slough who are seeking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join their growing team.

The ideal candidate will have varied general practice experience including experience of assisting on Audit assignments on a variety of clients and will hold either the AAT qualification or may have begun studying towards the ACA / ACCA qualifications.

The role will involve a mixture of accounts, tax and audit work and you will gain exposure to a diverse client base including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from a variety of industry sectors.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returns
Preparation of accounts for sole traders, and partnerships
Assist in the preparation of the audit plan and ensures it appropriately addresses audit objectives
Take an active part in the audit planning and fraud discussion to identify audit risks and appropriate audit strategy
Oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives

Skills:

Part Qualified ACA / ACCA or AAT Qualified
Experience in working with Owner Managed Business
Experience of assisting on audit assignments
