Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a leading independent firm of chartered accountants in Richmond who are seeking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join their growing team.

The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified or may have already begun their ACA / ACCA studies and you will have strong statutory accounts and audit experience. The role will involve a mixture of audit, accounts and tax work with the exact weighting being dependent on the individual. You will gain exposure to a diverse client base including SMEs, OMBs, and international groups from a variety of business sectors.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returns
Preparation of accounts for sole traders, and partnerships
Assist in the preparation of the audit plan ensuring it appropriately addresses audit objectives
Take an active part in the audit planning and fraud discussion to identify audit risks and appropriate audit strategy
Oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives

Skills:

AAT Qualified or ACA / ACCA Part Qualified
Some experience of assisting on audit assignments is essential
