Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a leading firm of chartered accountants in Blackpool who, due to continued growth, are now seeking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior.
The ideal candidate will have a grounding in general practice work and will have previous experience of assisting on statutory audit assignments. Individuals holding the AAT Qualification, or those who have begun studying towards the ACCA or ACA qualifications will both be considered.
The workload will be varied and will involve a range of duties including assisting on audit assignments as well as preparing year end accounts and the associated tax computations and returns.
This fantastic role will give the successful individual the opportunity to build on their existing experience whilst developing with the firm and progressing their career. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary as well as study support to complete their ACCA / ACA studies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Attending and assisting with audits including that of planning and field work and stock take
Year-end statutory accounts preparation
Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns for individuals and companies
Bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns
Management accounts preparation
Preparation of forecasts
AAT Qualified or ACA / ACCA Part Qualified
Experience of assisting on Audit assignments
