Clark Wood, a specialist recruitment consultancy within the Public Practice Accountancy and Tax sectors, is seeking a part qualified Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join a dynamic and forward-thinking accountancy firm in Oxford.
As an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior, you will be involved in a combination of accounts preparation, tax compliance, and audit assignments. This role offers exposure to a broad range of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies
Prepare accounts for sole traders and partnerships
Prepare corporation tax returns and personal tax returns
Assist in the planning and execution of audit assignments
Conduct audit fieldwork and work closely with senior auditors to complete audits efficiently
Provide support to clients on accounting and tax matters
Ideal Candidate:
Part qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent
Experience in a similar role within a practice environment
Proficiency in preparing accounts and tax returns
Experience in assisting with audit assignments
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
