Specialist Accountancy practice recruitment consultancy Clark Wood are working with a distinguished and well-renowned firm of chartered accountants in Stoke on Trent who are keen to add an ambitious Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join their growing team.

The ideal individual will have varied general practice experience, including experience of assisting on Audit assignments on a variety of clients, and will hold either the AAT qualification or may have begun studying towards the ACA / ACCA qualifications.

As an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior your role will involve a mixture of accounts, tax and audit work and you will gain exposure to a diverse client base including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from a variety of industry sectors.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returns

Preparation of accounts for sole traders, and partnerships

Assist in the preparation of the audit plan and ensures it appropriately addresses audit objectives

Assist senior team members with the completion of audit assignments, playing an active role in carrying out the assignment at client premises

Skills:

ACA / ACCA Part Qualified

AAT Qualified also considered

Experience of working with Owner Managed Business

Experience of assisting on audit assignments
