Accounts & Audit Semi Senior

Accountancy Practice Recruiters Clark Wood are looking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior for a market leading independent firm of Accountants in Birmingham.

Having achieved significant growth a new position has been created for an Audit Semi Senior Accountant to join their team.

This firm's objective is to have a client focused culture where they take a holistic approach to the service which they give. They strive to provide proactive, innovative advice with the aim of helping their clients business achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will be AAT Qualified or ACA / ACCA Part Qualified with good Audit exposure.

Duties and Responsibilities can be seen below.

Responsible for assisting with and completing the audit out on site within the agreed timetable
Responsible for assisting in ensuring the juniors have adequate work of the right level
Ensuring juniors understand why they are performing tests
Generally assisting Audit Seniors to enable work to be passed down and accepting responsibility for it
Ensuring all outstanding information is communicated up to the next level (supervisor or manager) and should generally consist of items requested from the client but not yet provided
Assisting with reviewing the junior's work and initial it as evidence
Ensuring files are completed within the best practice guidelines of the office
