Accounts & Audit Manager – Northallerton
£50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits
Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts & Audit Manager to join an established independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Northallerton.
The role would suit an Audit Manager, Accounts Manager, Client Manager or Senior Audit & Accounts professional who is ACA/ACCA qualified and looking for a varied role with strong client exposure.
The Role

Managing a portfolio of audit and accounts clients
Planning and reviewing statutory audits
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under UK GAAP
Reviewing corporation tax computations
Acting as a key client contact
Managing deadlines, budgets and workflow
Reviewing work completed by Seniors and trainees
Supporting and mentoring junior staff
Working with Partners on client management and business development

About You

ACA or ACCA qualified
Previous UK accountancy practice experience
Experience managing audits and reviewing accounts
Strong audit, accounts and UK GAAP knowledge
Good client management and communication skills
Experience supervising and developing junior staff
