Accounts & Audit Manager

Accountancy recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with possibly the most prestigious and recognised mid tier firm in Humberside who are looking for an Accounts & Audit Manager to join their Hull division,

The firm specialise across all major service lines and with 9 partners and over 100 staff can boast an excellent presence across the region.

As a Manager in the Hull office you will work directly with partners and will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients from a broad range of industry sectors, taking responsibility for the provision of services to each of your clients and ensuring that excellent levels of service and client satisfaction are maintained.

You will be responsible for managing the audit process from planning through to completion, ensuring the deployment of appropriate staff levels for each assignment.

Aside from the client management responsibilities the successful candidate will also contribute to the day to day management and training of staff. This will include having responsibility for conducting staff appraisals throughout the year to ensure continuous development for individual team members.

You may also be involved in business development activities including presenting to new and existing clients with a view to winning new business for the firm.

The ideal candidate for the role will be ACA / ACCA qualified and will have a wealth of audit experience from an established practice background with previous staff management experience.
