Accounts & Audit Manager

This is a very exciting opportunity for an audit manager looking to build their career with an established, independent Central London firm. The role offers an excellent opportunity for career progression and unlike most audit roles this will primarily be office based.

The practice are looking for a talented individual to join their Corporate Assurance department as a Manager. The successful applicant must be ACA or ACCA qualified and have the necessary experience conducting and leading audit assignments through the whole process.

The role will involve managing staff and a large, varied portfolio of clients and will require you to be fully up to date with all reporting standards. The role is approximately 80% in-house although a large part of that time will be spent communicating with clients

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reviewing audit and accounts assignments for small, medium and large companies from planning to completion stage
Liaising with clients as and when necessary both face to face and on the telephone
Supporting the team in terms of managing work flows and attendance at finalisation meetings
Reporting to clients and answering questions on the audit and statutory financial statements
Point of contact for the audit engagement team
Reporting on a regular basis to Partners and Directors for auditing and accounting issues
Meeting internal and external deadlines
Partaking in regular meetings to discuss progress and current client issues and to understand the workload of colleagues


Fully qualified ACA or ACCA
