Accounts & Audit Manager

Clark Wood is a specialist Recruitment Consultancy operating throughout the United Kingdom within the Public Practice Accountancy & Tax sectors. Our core client base consists of Accountancy Practices ranging from Big 4, Top 10 & Mid-Tier firms through to independent regional firms and sole traders.

This well-established accountancy practice is looking to recruit an Accounts and Audit manager into their Bury office.

The role would suit a candidate either looking to make their first move into a dedicated manager role or an established manager. You will take responsibility for a portfolio of large limited companies and also provide technical support and on the job training to audit staff.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare statutory accounts, produce corporation tax computations for limited companies and other ad hoc duties and to assist with the training of junior staff
Experience of reviewing work produced by the accounts and audit teams, liaising with the other manager and reporting in to partners working closely with them on the more complex clients in the portfolio.
Experience of leading non-audit assignments from planning to completion is essential as well as experience leading audit assignments.

ACCA/ACA Qualified
