Accounts & Audit Assistant Manager

Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with an award winning firm of chartered accountants, who are seeking to recruit an ACA / ACCA Qualified Accounts & Audit Assistant Manager to join their Weybridge office.

The successful candidate will be experienced in leading statutory audits from planning to completion and the preparation of financial statements.

You will be responsible for managing, controlling and conducting the audit fieldwork for a diverse range of clients, developing strong relationships, and helping to win new clients for the firm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Managing a portfolio of clients
Planning, managing, controlling and conducting the audit fieldwork for a portfolio of the firm's clients under the direction of the partner
Preparation of year end statutory accounts
Building and maintaining client relationships
Managing and developing junior members of the team

Skills:

ACA/ACCA Qualified
Experienced in leading audits from planning to completion
Practice experience is essential
