Accountant – Droitwich, Worcestershire
£32,000 to £36,000 + Study Support + Benefits
Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accountant to join a growing independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Droitwich.
The role would suit an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Semi Senior or Accountant looking to progress their career within practice.
You’ll work with a varied portfolio of OMBs, SMEs, sole traders and limited companies, gaining experience across accounts, tax, VAT and advisory work.
The Role

Preparing statutory accounts
Assisting with accounts from bookkeeping through to final accounts
Supporting Corporation Tax and Personal Tax compliance
Preparing VAT returns and bookkeeping
Assisting with management accounts and forecasting
Dealing with client queries
Supporting advisory and ad hoc assignments
Working with Managers and Partners on client work

About You

Previous accountancy practice experience
Experience preparing accounts
Knowledge of tax compliance and VAT
AAT qualified, studying ACA/ACCA or keen to progress
Good accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
Strong organisation and attention to detail
Keen to develop client and advisory skills
