Clark Wood are working with an leading, modern firm of Chartered Accountants in Durham who are looking to add an AAT Qualified Accounts Senior to their personable and professional team.

As an Accounts Technician or Accounts Senior your role will be varied but will predominantly consist of providing Accounting and Tax compliance services to a variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. The workload will include the preparation of both statutory and management accounts as well as corporate tax compliance.

The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified excellent experience of working within practice.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The role will predominantly involve preparing statutory accounts, management accounts and corporation tax computations and returns
You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines and work well within a team.
Experience of preparation of incorporated and unincorporated accounts in an accountancy practice using an accounting software package
Supervising the work of more junior staff

Skills:

AAT Qualified or QBE
Experience of undertaking a varied practice role
Up to date knowledge of all relevant accounting standards
